About Us
Kyle Hamrick spent over 20 years as a licensed independent insurance adjuster covering the Southeast — Atlanta to Charlotte, Asheville to Charleston, and everything in between. He wrote scopes, inspected properties, and worked with 50+ carriers. He knows exactly how desk adjusters think, what they accept, and where contractors are leaving money behind.
We built this system over the span of 20 years together. Kyle inspected and estimated. Lexie documented, scheduled, and ran follow-up. The roles have evolved, but our system has become unmatched. We work in tandem on every file, every claim, every contractor. Between us, every piece of a claim gets covered — fast and right.
We started The Estimate Company because we watched too many roofing contractors leave real money on the table — not from bad work, but from incomplete estimates. Code upgrades missed. Manufacturer requirements ignored. Standard line items just not written because the adjuster was moving fast.
We built a due-diligence process to comb through every estimate and include every warranted line item. Nothing more, nothing less. That's why our relationships with insurance companies stay strong.

Kyle started as an independent insurance adjuster straight out of college and spent over two decades in the field — inspecting properties, scoping damage, and writing estimates for 50+ carriers across the Southeast. He covered 15,000+ properties and built a reputation as the go-to adjuster in Greenville, SC and the surrounding corridor.
When contractors started building supplement-focused businesses, Kyle saw the gap: most supplement companies were run by people who had never stood on a roof or sat across from a desk adjuster. He knew he could do it better — and more importantly, right.
He writes every supplement with the same standard he held as an adjuster: documented, defensible, and fair. That's why they get approved.

Lexie runs the operational side of every claim — intake, documentation, carrier follow-up, contractor communication. While Kyle writes the scope, Lexie makes sure nothing falls through the cracks. She tracks every file, every follow-up deadline, every carrier response.
Her system is why contractors can hand off a file and genuinely not worry about it. She knows every claim by name, every contractor's preferences, and exactly where each file is in the process at any given moment.
The combination of Kyle's adjuster expertise and Lexie's operational precision is what sets TEC apart. Most supplement companies are one person with a laptop. We're a system.

Send us a claim. We'll have a supplement on the desk adjuster's desk within 24 hours.
